Fall Patio Party

Wednesday October 30th, 7PM-10PM

Join us for our annual Halloween-themed Fall Patio Party on Wednesday, October 30 from 7-10pm! Executive Chef Joe Macy will grill seasonal bites on our Big Green Egg including Sliced Brisket, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Grilled Scallops and Shrimp, Hot Dogs and Smoked Chicken Wings plus sides like brussels sprout apple slaw; field pea and farro salad; roasted sweet & fingerling potatoes, beets and squash; green salad; mac and cheese and a selection of beer and wine.

Dress in your best Halloween costumes for a chance to win first, second or third place prizes and enjoy live tunes from local cover band Grose, Hill & Callahan! No reservations are required and attendance to the event is $35, which is inclusive of food and select beer and wine. Cocktails will also be available for purchase. Hope to see you there!

Meet Joe Macy, Executive Chef

Joe Macy brings an extensive background of industry experience, heading up HAVEN’s culinary team and overseeing the restaurant’s menu development.

Originally from Lebanon, New Hampshire, Macy began cooking at a young age as a way to help out around the house. His parents were quick to recognize his talent in the kitchen and gave him the confidence he needed to pursue a career in the culinary industry. He got his start at The Hanover Inn in New Hampshire and since then has worked at restaurants such as Magnolia’s in Charleston and Atlanta-based spots BLT Steak and Local Three.

Cooking is Chef Macy’s creative outlet and he loves being able to try out new ingredients and cooking methods. Macy has been busy reimagining HAVEN’s menu, which is inspired by in-season, local ingredients prepared simply. HAVEN is committed to creating a hospitable and approachable dining experience for everyone, and Macy’s approach to food follows this philosophy. He often looks to dishes on other menus or in the cookbooks of chefs he admires for recipe inspiration, taking a traditionally uncommon dish or ingredient and making it appealing and delicious.

HAVEN’s Sunday brunch is a feast of the senses and offers something for everyone, from Eggs Benedict (Benton’s Ham, Spinach, Hollandaise) to the Jonah Crab Cake (Grilled Asparagus Salad, Poached Egg, Lemon Hollandaise). Enjoy Brookhaven’s most- recognized restaurant for brunch every Sunday from 10:30am - 2:30pm.

Join us on the patio on Thursday evenings to enjoy the beautiful warm weather, delicious fare and live music by Grose, Hill & Callahan!

Breadwinner Tuesdays

Tuesdays, 5PM-10PM

Head to HAVEN every Tuesday for a special selection of sandwiches paired with wine and beer by the glass. The sandwiches, available only on Tuesdays, include Big Green Egg Smoked Brisket with cheddar cheese, horsey sauce and crispy onions; Crispy Georgia Red Shrimp Po’ Boy with remoulade, pickled okra lettuce and tomato on French bread; and the HAVEN Double Stack Burger with vidalia onion, lettuce, special sauce and American cheese. All sandwiches are served with fries and can be paired with select glasses of white or red wine for $20.
